Karen and Chet DAY
Karen has been a teacher for over 20 years,having taught at a local college as well as one -on -one tutoring with students covering various subjects. She and Chet are active in public speaking and are in ongoing classes to hone their skills in teaching and speaking.
They have had many dogs and currently own 5 dogs- Dahlia, Luke, Tammy, Tippee and a puppy named Router. Three of these are rescues. Karen enjoys the challenge of working with rescue dogs and their issues and has learned a great deal from Ginger in this area. In fact, the Days have earned 44 titles with their dogs in rally-o, agility, flyball. Many of those titles are on the rescued ones! Their Miniature Pinscher Dahlia is currently ranked 2nd in her breed in North America for Flyball!
Karen and Chet have been teaching agility for 4 years. After much research and advice from the American Working Terriers Association, they are excited to start the Earthdog class at Fortunate Fido in the fall.
