Katie STRAH
Katie grew up riding and training horses at her instructor's sale barn. After college, she purchased her first dog, Mitzi the Minpin and began taking classes. After meeting Ginger, the world of positive dog training was opened and Katie saw how much she could accomplish with these methods. Mitzi became a happier dog and a willing partner. To date, they have garnered 18 titles in Rally and Agility and Mitzi was in the Top Rally Minpins in the country for 3 years straight (AKC). Katie has also trained and shown German Shepherds in German- Style confirmation shows. She has competed at many Regional and National Championships.
Katie enjoys helping her students create a bond with their dogs based on mutual respect and fun. She especially enjoys helping those with "difficult" breeds learn to motivate and get the best from their dogs. Katie teaches Agility For Fun, C-WAGS, obedience, and Nose work classes.
